About Me

 2008 -

I began my career in Marylebone, London with a 3 year apprenticeship at the world class and award winning - Daniel Galvin London salon  - where I had the best time working on the hair of many lovely clients and also a good few celebrities. My apprenticeship included helping out on Photoshoots with celebrities including girl band The Saturdays & assisting on TV shows such as Britain's Next Top Model. I trained with top hair colourists and stylists including, Robert Isaac, Lino Carbosiero and Daniel Galvin himself.  After qualifying at Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing in 2011, my time at Daniel Galvin had sadly come to an end and I left my London colleagues behind but have remained in contact with many of them still.

2011 -

My adventures continued following this, when I made the decision to work locally and was offered a job at Headmasters in Bromley High StreetI spent 4 happy years, meeting and getting to know some lovely new clients and work colleagues and  furthering my career and qualifications and went on to achieve my Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing and my colour knowledge blossomed massively.

2015 -

Headmasters opened a new branch in Beckenham High Street Beckenham - and I applied and was offered a chance to further my career there working in a brand new salon and met some more lovely clients and work colleague/friends and I stayed there until the dreaded COVID hit and we were all forced into lockdown and I was furloughed.

2020 -

During furlough I got a temporary admin job working for the NHS in two of their extremely busy COVID clinics in Orpington and West Wickham, booking patients in and arranging for them to have their COVID vaccinations.  In July 2021 when hairdressers were given the green light to get back to work, I felt I had enough knowledge and experience behind me to make the leap and start up my own business - which I had been thinking about for a while, and this brings us up to date!  I have to say that since that day I have not looked back.  I have met some of the most amazing clients - who have gone on to be not only clients, but friends! One of the things I love about being self-employed is the relationships you build with your clients. You get the chance to create more open and relaxed relationships in the clients' homes then you do in a salon. No one else is listening in on your top secrets! It's just you and your client - and of course their families, who have also gone on to become good friends along the way.
